It has a very family friendly atmosphere. Swamp water is a great drink to kick things off as well as the zydeco shrimp! This place is hands down the best food we’ve had while in town. We’ve been 3 times in just as many weeks.

After ordering, there was a short wait and my food was hot and very well seasoned. This was my first visit to the new location and I was not disappointed. The wait was 45 minutes but we didn’t mind since we could enjoy the lake and scenery while we waited. We got the shrimp and grits, gumbeaux, and Mac and cheese. The food was out of this world.

I want to lower the rating cause this place has ruined me for all other creole food. The Best Cajun food I have yet to experience! Look forward to many more trips and bringing more family and friends here as they visit. The café is situated by a lake, providing a lovely view while waiting for a table. We are waiting on word to find out when this new restaurant will be opening up at one of our favorite locations in the region. You can probably expect to find tasty items like the famous stuffed shrimp, alligator bites and zydeceaux shrimp.
